SUPER SATURDAY - MONTPELLIER

Youngsters from Totnes Rugby Club and Westlands School were the latest to take in the Super Saturday experience here at Sandy Park.

Over 70 children enjoyed a morning training session and tour of the ground with a number of the Exeter Chiefs squad ahead of the club's first-ever Amlin Challenge Cup clash against Montpellier.

The session allowed the youngsters to get expert tutilage from players including Tom Hayes, Gareth Steenson, Sereli Naqelevuki, Addison Lockley, Tom Johnson, Andy Miller, Brett Sturgess and Hoani Tui.

A highly enjoyable morning saw the children hone their skills in defence, tackling, ball handling and kicking, as well as work on SAQ and ball presentation in a series of themed games.

Trainers of the day went to Keiron Mason from Westlands School and Simon Grute from Totnes.

A special thanks must go to Alan Shepherd from Totnes RFC and Mike Mooney from Westlands School for all of their hard work in getting all players from each group along with all parents and family members to join us at Sandy Park.

SUPER SATURDAYS ARE BACK FOR 2010

Super Saturdays with the Exeter Chiefs are back for this season here at Sandy Park. Come along and enjoy the match day experience with the Exeter Chiefs in this season’s Aviva Premiership, which I’m sure will be an exciting time for all involved.
Bring you local club or group to Sandy Park to take on the Super Saturday experience, along with all the Chiefs and the facilities we have to offer.

The Super Saturday experience includes:
• A two-hour rugby coaching session by some of the Exeter Chiefs squad members and our other RFU qualified coaching team
• A goodie bag for every player taking part in the coaching session
• A tour of the Exeter Chiefs training facilities
• A seat in the South West Communications Stand to watch the match
• Form the tunnel at halfway to cheer the Chiefs onto Sandy Park for the match
• Half-time pitch parade to advertise your clubs youth section or group

• Child - £15
• Adult - £20

Please choose a date from the list of home matches below and email us at the community department to  book your place. We only have 12 matches for this season to run a Super Saturday, so we would like to maximise each day with numbers. In certain cases you might not get your first choice date, but as this event is getting very popular we would like to give everybody a chance to come and enjoy a day with us here at the Chiefs.
So, when quoting numbers to attend, please be realistic as we would like you to fill all of the places you book.
NOTE:  Matches up to and including the London Irish match have confirmed kick-off times. Matches to be played after those dates are a 3pm kick-off, although that is subject to change due to broadcasting rights by either Sky Sports or ESPN. We will, however, look to let you know in plenty of time to change your days programme to fit.
